If you have ever dreamed of flying like an eagle… This is it!
POWRACHUTE Powered Parachutes (PPC) are able to fly just above the cornstalks, or ascend to 10,000 feet, safely, affordably, and comfortably.
The PPC is indeed the ultimate personal flying machine!
Flying the PPC is pure pleasure. No worry about stall or spin. No such thing as “out of control”! You can just relax and enjoy the experience. Speed is slow, about 30 - 32 mph at all times, although climb rate is comparable with many (general aviation) GA aircraft. Wind in your face is minimal, and your hands are free for taking spectacular photographs.
The key to the powered parachute's safety and ease of operation lies in its pendulum stability. This principle allows the powered parachute to fly straight and level all by itself. With such excellent stability, the powered parachute has an almost constant gentle motion. The ability of the PPC to fly gently through the sky and then be turned with exhilarating motion makes it a truly fun machine.
How fast you go does not depend on the throttle. Your speed stays the same with engine at full throttle or at idle, even if the engine is turned off, you still move forward at around 30 mph. How much gas you give it (thrust) determines if the PPC is climbing, flying straight and level, or descending. Also, landings are about as smooth as you can imagine.
I know, it seems too good to be true, but thanks to technology, almost anyone can live their flying dreams with a powered parachute. The basics of flying a PPC Light Sport Aircraft can be learned in as little as one afternoon. It can be stored in the garage, and towed to the airstrip on a small trailer. Also, maintenance expenses are very minimal.
